• If an emergency arises and you need immediate assistance, please contact the Office of Safety and Security at 651-638-6000. Safety and Security Officers are available around the clock and have a very fast response time.
• BUILD Housing Mentors and the Office of Safety and Security are able to contact the BUILD staff member on call 24/7 as needed for emergencies. 
• Students receive mentor support during their orientation sessions to enter the BUILD on-call and Office of Safety and Security phone numbers into their phones, to be used in the event they need to call for help. 
• Students also have a listing of emergency and non-emergency contacts posted in their residence hall.
• Mandatory Reporting Concerning Vulnerable Adults
  • In accordance with Bethel University's Mandated Reporting Policy for Vulnerable Adults (https://betheluniversity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/stulife/pages/50825158/Mandated+Reporting+Policy+for+Vulnerable+Adults), any University employee who becomes aware of the abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult on campus or University property or in connection with any University event, program, or activity must report it immediately to the Title IX Coordinator, Student Life, and/or BUILD Staff for students in BUILD, and to the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) at 1-844-880-1574.

The BUILD office is located on the second floor of the Hagstrom Center in HC 262 (across from the Nursing Department). Office hours of operation are: 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on days when classes are held during the academic year.
