Additional requirements for a major in Spanish: Students must have a semester-long experience in a Spanish-speaking setting outside the United States. The experience must include living with members of the host culture. The program must be approved by the chair of the Department of Languages and Cultures.

Students may not declare a B.A. in Spanish and a Minor in Spanish.
