Students may not declare a B.Mus. in Applied Performance and a Minor in Music.
Additional Requirement:
- Students are expected to be in (MUL) private lessons for a minimum of four years
- Students are expected to be in (MUP) performance organizations for a minimum of four years
- Students must fulfill Recital and Concert Attendance requirement.
In addition to the usual music vocations, students can prepare for the following careers by combining the bachelor of arts major in music with prescribed minors in business or psychology. (Consult with the Department of Music and Performing Arts for specific courses.)

Music Therapy
(use of music in therapy with individuals with disabilities and others who need human services)
